• Welcome Address and Introductions

1. Apoorv Singh Karki introduces himself, 

2. His filmmaking journey, and his vision for the workshop.

3. The struggles on the journey of a filmmaker and ways to deal with it.

Lunch Break (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

​

1. Participants enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh, local ingredients at the Moksham Campsite dining area.

2. Opportunity to relax, network with fellow filmmakers, and take in the stunning Himalayan views.

 

Afternoon (3:30 PM - 6:30 PM)

1. Introduction to filmmaking

• The power of storytelling through film.

 2. From Script to Screen 

• Pre - Production 

• Breakdowns, shot division, scheduling, casting, different departments involved.

 3. Fundamentals of Storytelling

• Diving into the core concepts of storytelling for film,

• Screenplay Structure, 

• Character development

• Thematic exploration.

• Interactive session with group discussions and exercises to solidify the fundamentals.

 

Dinner & In-house Party (7:00 PM-10:00 PM)

              Day 2: Capturing Your Vision

Morning (09:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

​

• Breakfast & Conversation(09:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

• Production Workshop (10:15 AM - 12:30 PM)

1. Production (shooting)

•  Get ready to turn ideas into action! This session will guide participants through the production process and how the shooting is done

 2. Postproduction 

• Explore the importance of sound design, music, VFX, DI and Final Master in filmmaking

• Interactive Q&A session with Apoorv to address participant queries.

 

Afternoon & Evening (1:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

1.Lunch Break (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM):

• A delicious meal at Moksham Campsite before putting newfound knowledge into practice.

2.Putting Theory into Action: Filming Workshop (3:30 PM - 6:00 PM):

• Participants, guided by Apoorv, put their learned skills to the test by filming a short scene based on their group-developed concept.

• He provides hands-on guidance on using cameras, sound recording, and working collaboratively as a film crew.

• Opportunity for participants to experiment, practice different techniques, and receive feedback from Apoorv.
